Saw some pretty cool faculty cars today, a super clean NA Miata and a Golf R32.
Also saw the Cornell Racing Formula SAE car! I'm thinking about joining the team, so it was pretty awesome to see the car in person. Does anyone know anything about Formula SAE?

You'll get plenty of info here :D There are lots of FSAE alums on Oppo, of varying responsibilities and commitments. I did it during my last 2 years of mecheng, but I was never able to commit the amount of time to really contribute.
If you're interested in getting into racing or automotive positions after school, it's a fantastic program to be a part of. A pretty high percentage of engineering positions get recruited from the top teams at competitions. Be ready to commit many hours of your life to it, though.

The area is super nice. I was surprised to see the miata too. I was considering buying one until I decided on Cornell. Now I'm thinking about a subaru. :/

Knowing the area, Upstate NY, a Subaru will definitely help. Especially in the winter. What are you/planning on majoring in?

I so wished my college had a FSAE team! Building a little racecar looks like fun.
